I am a third-year graduate student in Computer Science at University of Oklahoma, advised by Dr. Dean Hougen. My research focuses on making large language models reason more efficiently and reliably: adaptive test-time compute and uncertainty-guided search, post-training with preference optimization and reinforcement learning, memory-efficient inference through KV-cache compression, and self-improving agentic systems.
Previously, I earned my Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from National University of Sciences & Technology (NUST) in Islamabad, where I was fortunate to work with Dr. Ahmad Salman.
I have industry experience as a Machine Learning Engineer at Cowlar Design Studio (YC ’17), and as a UX/UI Designer at Meraki-IT. I also delivered a talk on “AI in Healthcare” at Norman Regional Hospital under Dr. Lubna Mirza. You can also explore my creative work in UI/UX design.
