Ahsan Bilal

I am a third-year graduate student in Computer Science at University of Oklahoma, advised by Dr. Dean Hougen. My current research focuses on adaptive test-time compute, training and discovery methods, post-training, memory optimization in LLMs, and evolving agentic systems.
Previously, I earned my Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from National University of Sciences & Technology (NUST) in Islamabad, where I was fortunate to work with Dr. Ahmad Salman.
I have industry experience as a Machine Learning Engineer at Cowlar Design Studio (YC ’21), and as a UX/UI Designer at Meraki-IT. I also delivered a talk on “AI in Healthcare” at Norman Regional Hospital under Dr. Lubna Mirza. You can also explore my creative work in UI/UX design.
